Planned Parenthood Internship Opportunities

to all!

Public Policy Internships Available in Atlanta, GA and Jackson,MS:
Public Policy interns will organize and recruit activists, plan events, and assist staff
on public policy issues. Hours are flexible but 12-15 hours a week are required. There is
a stipend for this internship.

The Public Policy intern will assist public policy staff with supporter recruitment and
engagement. Duties include representing PPSE at community events, coordinating campus
outreach, assisting with community organizing and supporter engagement, volunteer
recruitment and legislative support and research. Other tasks include data entry, data
management and supporting public policy staff with small projects ranging from event
planning to clerical support.  Interns will have the opportunity to gain nonprofit and
public policy experience, grow their knowledge of sexual health issues and policy, and
learn about the legislative process.

Caregiver Interview Questions

I'm posting this for people who are seeking in home care help and for those who are interested in working as an in home caregiver.

Home Health Aide Interview Questions

  1. Why are you interested in care giving?
  2. What type of diagnoses have you cared for in the past?
  3. Imagine that your shift ends at 2 p.m. and your replacement hasn't arrived by 2:15 p.m. How would you handle the situation?
  4. How do you handle patients that are characteristically upset and/or difficult?
  5. How would you handle a patient that resists your care?
  6. After an extremely demanding day with a patient, a family member comes home and criticizes your work. How do you handle this?
  7. Please explain in detail how you would appropriately transfer a patient from a bed to a wheelchair.
  8. How do you keep a family informed of a patient's progress and well-being?
  9. Have you ever cared for someone in a condition similar to this patient? Is there any aspect of this patient's condition that makes you uncomfortable? Are there any tasks required of this position that you are uncomfortable or unwilling to do?
  10. Are you willing to do household chores such as cooking or light housekeeping?
In addition to job specific interview questions, you will also be asked more general questions about your employment history, education, strengths, weaknesses, achievements, goals and plans.
