Public Insults and Rudeness
If your loved one behaves rudely - for example, by insulting people or swearing or spitting - don't attempt to argue or correct him or her. Instead,try this:
Try distracting your loved one' attention.
Explain to other people later that your loved one's behavior is due to dementia and is not directed at them personally.
